Note about the law
The St Maarten Sea Rescue Foundation does not write laws or enforces them. This is a task for the CoastGuard. When stopped by the CoastGuard it could become a problem when the proper licenses are not in place - this can however never be held against the St Maarten Sea Rescue Foundation and the SSRF does not take responsibilities in any case.
This list is a tool to assist boaters to be prepared and is not is not all-embracing. Changes can be made to this list at any time without prior notice.
